Intrigued by Laurel’s viral lumberjack videos and her fearless advocacy, we reached out to her to talk about a collab. We were drawn to her unapologetic attitude and willingness to try anything and knew we could come up with something awesome together. Laurel’s powerful voiceover, written and recorded specifically for our piece titled ‘Split,’ added narrative cohesiveness by reflecting on the many ways women are compelled to divide themselves across various roles and responsibilities. ‘Split’ is all about celebrating femininity and giving props to badass women.
